Robin Hood (february post)

Robin Hood

Stealing from the rich and giving to the poor, that sounds familiar right? Well, Robin Hood was the character who is known for this. Was he a villain or a hero though? Back in the 1192’s many people were robbers. Robin Hood was remembered especially because he gave what he stole to the poor. Robin Hood was a hero because he helped the poor people out, while taking items the rich could easily live without.
Giving to the poor was a noble thing to do. Robin Hood could have kept it all for himself, but he decided to share it. In the article “The Legend of Robin Hood” is explains that “But laws must be followed or there will be no more justice.” Robin Hood said “Justice? Tell that to the widow whose son was hanged for stealing flour for his starving family.” See, if the sheriff did not seal from the poor (like taxes) in the first place, the poor wouldn't have to steal back. Robin Hood was a hero to many and should be thanked.

  1. Great job! You really brought out the hero side in Robin! One thing to consider is maybe using a little more adjectives in your writing but other than that great job.

  5. I love it! I really enjoyed reading it in your words. I loved the way you started it. The only thing I think you could make it better add adjectives, and on the year, don't make it so specific, I would change it to the 1100's. Other than that, you did great!

  7. Great job. I loved how you started off by telling what you wanted to talk about and how you introduced it. I would add some more details though.
