Robin Hood Contest

Is Robin Hood, the famous fictional who stole from the rich and gave to the poor, a crook or villain? This question has been debated countless time by those who read of his tales. Robin Hood and his merry men stole from the rich and gave to the poor because the greedy king that ruled over the land taxed every man the same amount. While the rich could easily pay the taxes, the poor could not. These taxes were unjust and changed the lifestyle of those who were not wealthy. Only in a scenario like this would Robin Hood be considered a hero for stealing from the rich and giving to the poor. However, In our modern society, where every citizen is taxed accordingly to their own wealthy, a character such as Robin Hood would be considered a villain. The poor people that accept stolen money become reliant and don’t learn how to properly handle money, making them no better than the wealthy.
