April Post

April Post

I listened to “How Do I Know When A Poem Is Finished?” and the thing I liked about it most was that it made me think of doors. I don’t know why, but now I just want to get a door for my room that has some advanced technology thingy on it to make it super cool. Don’t ask me why the poem made me think about that, it just did. So enjoy this poem.

Life

Apples are green
Lemons are blue
All I can think about
Is something not true

Nothing can stop it
As it is in control
Something worth living
Must always be dull

If something is good
Then it isn’t understood
Happiness is in it’s hood

Life is sad
Over and over and
Virus of the future
Exactly what is planned

  1. Nice Poem! I liked how it rhymed. I didn't get the third stanza a lot, though. But It's still good.

  2. It was a good poem, it was really creative and descriptive! Everything about it was pretty good except the third stanza which might use a little bit of work. Other than that it good.

  4. Great poem Jaedan I loved how creative this piece was! The only thing that I would correct is the third stanza like Matt was saying to just make it a little more descriptive other than that great job!

  5. I don't get it. Why is everybody saying the third stanza was bad? If anything I would have said the fourth stanza needs work because of how hard it is to understand. All I did in S3 was make it three lines and twisted the rhyme scheme up a bit. I purposefully made it shorter. But anyways, thanks for your opinions.
