IMPORTANT: For the March Blog Post

I was disappointed last month as many of the blog posts seemed to be thrown together at the last minute. This will not help you grow as writers:)

So...here are the requirements for the March Blog Post:

1.  You may NOT post a writing contest.
2.  Do a creative short story--if you are writing a continued piece, that is fine. No poetry, or informational/essay pieces.
3. When you comment, you need to comment on 3 student's pieces you have not commented on before, AND your comments need to be 3-5 sentences long.
4.  Your focus is DETAIL AND DESCRIPTION. This is what I will be grading. Make sure you have a lot of rich detail and description of the setting, characters, and situations you write about. Your goal is to appeal to your reader's scenes so they can "see, hear, feel, taste and smell" what you are reading because you describe it so well.
