Zenit Contest

Veterans should be given the chance to adopt the military dogs that they worked with. The veterans often miss their military dogs and are sad. The dogs and their handlers develop a strong bond and when they are taken from their dog, they have emotional stress.
Veterans miss their military dogs that they served with. They have a strong bond. In the october issue of Scholastic Scope Magazine, It says that Jose Armenta and his dog Zenit were serving in Afghanistan as a bomb sniffer. Jose stepped on a bomb, and had both legs amputated. He was living in San Diego with his wife. He felt very depressed and sad because he didn’t have his dog. However, when he go his dog back, he felt like he had part of his life back.
Veterans should be able to adopt the military dogs they worked with. Without the dog, they are unhappy and stressed. I hope you will consider this.

I totally agree with you that veterans should adopt their military dogs. But I found it kind of short. But besides that, you have convinced me, veterans should adopt their military dogs.
ReplyDeleteWhoa!!! For a moment there, I felt like you were the almighty person-who-knows-everything! That's a good sign!! You used very good descriptive words! I really did consider it! In my opinion, if you tweak the first sentence just a tiny bit, you can have the readers drawn to you from the start, and then they probably will believe you are the almighty person-who-knows-everything. Keep up being Uni-Kitty Awesome!!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm Rebekah!
DeleteWell-written, concise and to-the-point. By the way, I'm totally in agreement with you there. Your strongest argument is certainly that the pets can sooth the extraordinary stress our Veteran's are under. Good job!
