What the pledge of allegiance means to me!

America, the country of freedom, right, and beauty. We the people might not think of the pledge of allegiance as something something special. Numerous people think of it as a bunch of words jumbled together. The pledge of allegiance isn’t anything like that, it’s about pledging our fidelity to this astounding country we live in and bringing pride to our nation. Seldom people think of it that way, but I do! This province deserves loyalty and honor for the rights we have and the way of life it gives to many people. Our pledge of allegiance means many things but what it means to me is love.

  1. This is an excellent contest to enter. Remember that the Pledge of Allegiance is a proper noun so capitalize it. Include a claim/thesis statement to give better organization to your paragraph. I'll look forward to seeing a revision:)

  2. Amazing! I loved that you put in more interesting adjectives such as "numerous" and "jumbled" in the essay. Also, it would help if you had a little more organization and if you had an introduction and stuff like that. Great Job!

  3. Yes! I liked the "bigger words" that you used. It made it sound professional! Maybe add some more organization by putting in an introduction and 3 reasons and a conclusion. Also capitalize Pledge of Allegiance. Really good piece though:) Good job ellie!

  9. This is a very well written. I liked your word choice, how you stated a few words. I didn't get the part were you said, "...right, and beauty" what did you mean by "right". Other than that, I really enjoyed reading you paragraph.
