Taking Time to Remember
By: Sophie Chandler
Remembering is taking the time to realize what happened in the past
I remember the time I spent with family last
Thinking of good times gone by.
I remember these things that cause me great joy
I remember the time we had our reunion
when we all revel in each others company.
We were all joined in union
as felt each others love in assembly.
Family is what keeps us remembering
the great memories of love and happiness.
this was a great poem! i loved the idea of this poem. I think that you could've used some more descriptive words, but i thought it was absolutely great!
ReplyDeleteI really liked the word choice of your poem! Like when you used the word "revel", it really made your poem good. I think if you used punctuation just a little bit better that would be nice. But all in all it was a very good poem.
ReplyDeleteI really liked the rhyming words, like how you made reunion and union, I would have never thought to do that. But it seemed kind of short to me, a little more description would be great. I did really like it.
ReplyDeleteSophie, Sophie, Sophie. What can I say? This poem magically pulled me into your thoughts! On the last two lines, there's some sort of space in-between them. Did the computer do that? If you can, try to make it a little bigger to pull them even more in. If you do that, you can persuade anybody!! I LOVE IT!!!
ReplyDeleteI loved this! Some more adjectives would be amazing, but I loved it!
ReplyDeleteGreat comments on the thread. Good work Sophie--I would add more description for sure (yes, vivid adjectives). The alliteration of "r" and the repetition of "we" is really powerful. I like the break at the end too. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteGreat poem Sophie!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mrs.Robins I think all you have to add is more adjectives,
Great Job!
Ok thank you!
