November Post

Dear Scotland,
For the past 82 years, the mystery of the Loch Ness monster is still waiting to be discovered. People say that there is a huge beast with black skin and a humped back living in Loch Ness Lake. There has been cryptozoologists searching for the monster for years, but should they keep searching? I believe that they should keep looking for the beast. It could be one of the greatest scientific discoveries ever made. We also have witnesses that have seen the beast, squirming around in the water. We haven’t yet proved that it doesn't exist, so I think we should keep searching for the Loch Ness monster.
The first reason why I think we should keep looking is because of science. There is so much in the world that we don’t know about yet, and this could be one of them. If the creature does exist, it could lead to one of the best scientific discoveries. It could be harmless, or it could be very helpful. Either way it would lead to great new things.
My second reason is because of people. We have had so many people that have claimed to see the beast in the lake. While some may be lying, others may have really seen a monster. As I said before, this monster could be very harmful. People could be injured from it if it really did exist. That is why we need to keep searching until we unlock the mystery.
My third reason is the right of choice. If people want to spend their own time and money to look for the beast, let them! For those who think we shouldn't keep searching, they don’t have to. It doesn't affect them if we search and they don’t. Plus, if the monster does exist, we will be able to say that you believed in it.
However, I don’t believe that there is some sort of monster. I do believe that there is something in the lake that could be harmful. Some people think it is a waste of time and money to look for the beast. This is wrong though because if they aren't searching, they are not spending any of their money. Plus as I have said, the beast could be harmful or very helpful, so we need to find out what this creature is.
For a long time, people have been searching for the Loch Ness monster, and I believe that they should keep searching. It could lead to a great scientific discovery that people would want to know about. Also, those who would like to search, have the right to. We need to unlock the mystery of the Loch Ness monster, and the only way to do that is to keep searching!
Sincerely, Hallie Remund
